MODELLING stakeholders in East Africa have been called to create a strong network to cope with the fast rise of the art in the region.
The call was made by Affrik Models Agency Manager, Oscar Njeru from Kenya during his visit to the local practitioners of the beauty fashion and modelling. He said the string network will enable the practitioners to effectively utilise modelling opportunities found within the region.
Njeru was speaking at the office of Tanzania based Modelling Agency, BlackFox. Njeru who was accompanied with five Kenyans models, was in a five-day tour of Tanzania aiming to explore the beauties of Tanzanian fashion and modelling.
He said East African countries have many things in common that connect their people and share varieties of culture and taboos. He added, the modelling stakeholders may use that as opportunity to form a network that will be used in exchanging deals, work and experience.
“Today’s tour at Black Fox company is one of our five days’ activities in Tanzania and today we have learnt a lot in modelling and managed to see how Tanzania has gone a step ahead in the modelling” he said.
