OVER 35 participants have confirmed to attend the National Volleyball Coaching course at JMK Youth Park in Dar es Salaam.
The course is organised by Tanzania Amateur Volleyball Association (TAVA) in collaboration with the Confederation de Africa Volleyball (CAVB).
Coaches from all regions have been listed, according to TAVA secretary Alfred Selengia who said yesterday that preparation is complete. He said that the course is scheduled to start from November 11 to 14 at the Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete (JMK) Youth Park in Dar es Salaam.
“All is going well, we are happy that about 35 participants have already confirmed their participation, but, still we expect to join later,” he said.
“It is a refresher course for those who have already received a similar courses previously. It is also ideal for sports teachers from primary schools and secondary schools,” he said.
The course will be conducted by expert from Federation de International Volleyball (FIVB) from Egypt, Sherif El Shemerly. Selengia added that El Shemerly is expected to arrive in the city today ready for job.
Selengia has appealed to coaches in the country to come in big number as doors are still open for them.
