THE Dar es Salaam Regional Volleyball Association (DAREVA) Senior League continues today at the National Indoor Stadium with three matches on the card.
CDS Park will take on Makongo Secondary, while IP Sports battle it out against Police Marine, before Chui challenge Mjimwema skills.
However, organisers have rescheduled several other matches to allow army teams travel to Zanzibar to compete in military Games.
DAREVA Technical Committee Chairman, Maseru Sharifu told the ‘Daily News on Saturday’ in Dar es Salaam yesterday that Jeshi Stars, Tanzania Prisons and JKT men and women teams will be in Zanzibar for the event.
He said they have to make some few changes in the fixtures especially for matches involving the mentioned teams. “I want to inform all participating teams that we made some changes for this weekend and next week fixtures to allow the teams to travel to Zanzibar,” Sharifu said.
He added that the league will continue at the same venue on March 25 with other three matches. The first match will pit CDS Park and Mjimwema, then Police Marine will face Chui and Kinyerezi battle out against iP SportsAdd a comment
